Asiana Hotel Soft Opening

With a beautiful red sky lighting up the city with a magnificent colour it was the perfect evening for the opening of Dubai’s newest hotspot, Asiana Hotel. The deluxe Asian themed hotel had taken three years of hard work but now finally the vision, set out by the CEO Mr. Gene Cha along with the General Manager Mr. M.S Jahng had come to fruition and the hotel was ready to welcome its guests.

With over 100 guests in attendance, ranging from the Korean community to many different Korean companies in Dubai, to top officials and many various VIP’s from many different work areas in Dubai, the time was right to showcase this new establishment.
The guests arrived to the Hotel between 6:00pm and 6:30pm to be greeted by the CEO Mr. Gene Cha and the General manager Mr. M.S. Jahng along with all the other managers and staff from the hotel. The greeting, an impeccable and warming experience allowed the guests to try some of Koreans finest refreshments including Omija and Sujeonggwa.

Oasis, the hotel’s lobby was the starting point and with the magnificent pine trees inside the lobby it was an incredible experience to start off with. Once all the guests had arrived it was time for the cutting of the ribbon with Mr. Cha and Mr. Jahng being joined by Mr. Kwon, the Ambassador of Korea and Mr. Shin, Chairman of the Korean Community.

Within a few moments the cutting of the ribbon had been done and the hotel had reached its promised land. The guests were then split into groups of ten and were given a tour of the hotel by one of the hotels many well trained employees.

From visiting each of the five restaurants the hotel has to offer, to the glorious nightclub on the 6th floor as well as the elegant bar on the 7th floor the guests were given a feel for the venue and many were in awe of how beautiful and inspiring it was. The guests were then shown a few of the rooms and suites available in the hotel and finally brought up to the Spa where they were presented with true Asian relaxation.

Upon completion of the tour the guests were brought to the Mezzanine floor where a cocktail awaited them and then they were treated to a meal in the hotels specialty Korean restaurant, Sonamu. Welcoming speeches were made by the CEO and by the General Manager and then the guests were treated to some fine delicacies including live octopus, beef ddeokgalbi, pumpkin porridge, fresh halibut and abalone while the meal was completed with an array of desserts to truly bring a perfect end to a wonderful evening.

Dubai’s first deluxe Asian themed hotel had arrived and it will leave a long lasting impression.
